We have an issue where we could see that none of the hyper-v host are discovered in SCOM.
My SCOM and SCVMM configuration is as below.

– We don’t have any issues with the SCVMM and SCOM integrations.

Now when I looked at the discovery, it is targeted to “Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.ManagementGroup”
Which means this discovery will run from the SCOM management server which is used during the set up of the integration between SCVMM and SCOM.
We could see that there is a discovery which run the PowerShell script StorageObjectsDiscovery.DS.ps1 on SCOM management server (Here the SCOM server is what we have used during integration). Please check in the event viewer under Operations Manager logs if you can see 108 event IDs.
Now when I looked at the run as account “Virtual Machine Manager Connection Account”, we found that there are many objects has been added including SCOM management server and VMM server.
Also, found that under run as profile “Virtual Machine Manager Connection Account”, all the hosts are added explicitly.
This configuration seems to be wrong as we could see the below error in SCOM MS under the Operations Manager logs.

– Now we have rectified the run as account and run as profiles as below.
Please make sure run as account “Virtual Machine Manager Connection Account” should be like below.
SCOMMS1 – My SCOM MS
VMM1807 – VMM Server
and now we have removed all the windows computer association and added “All target Objects” in run as profile “Virtual Machine Manager Connection Account”
– Now after few minutes, we could see the following events and also observed that the host is got discovered in SCOM as well.
